Welcome to Events Tickets Australia. By purchasing a ticket or using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Events Tickets Australia is an online ticketing and marketing platform. We facilitate the sale of tickets as a disclosed agent on behalf of Third-Party Event Organisers. We are not the event producers and are not responsible for the organisation, management, or execution of the events listed on our site. Our services may be provided in conjunction with our related business, Events Tickets New Zealand.
Final Sale: All ticket sales are final. Except as required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), tickets cannot be exchanged, cancelled, or refunded once booked.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By using our service, you agree to be bound by Stripe’s terms of service. Events Tickets Australia does not store your full credit card details.
Booking Fees: A non-refundable booking/service fee is applied to each transaction. This fee covers the cost of our technology and administrative processing and is generally non-refundable, even in the event of a cancellation or postponement, to the extent permitted by law.
Entry Requirements: A valid printed or digital ticket must be presented for entry. The Organiser reserves the right to request valid photo ID (e.g., Australian Driver’s License or Passport) to verify the ticket holder’s identity.
Arrival: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the event start time to ensure a seamless entry process.
Alcohol Policy: Unless otherwise stated, events are 100% alcohol-free. Possession or consumption of alcohol may lead to immediate eviction without a refund.
Right of Admission: Admission is subject to the Event Organiser’s terms. Entry may be refused, or patrons may be evicted for misconduct, illegal activity, or behavior that threatens safety, in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice.
Organiser Responsibility: The Event Organiser is solely responsible for the event schedule, venue, and artist lineup.
Refund Process: If an event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled, you may be entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law. In such cases, the Event Organiser is responsible for the refund of the ticket price. Events Tickets Australia will facilitate the return of funds only once they have been received from the Organiser.
Unforeseen Events: To the extent permitted by law, Events Tickets Australia is not liable for refunds or damages resulting from “Force Majeure” events, including natural disasters or government-mandated restrictions.
By ticking the consent box during the checkout process, you agree to the following:
Marketing Communications: You authorise Events Tickets Australia (and our related entity, Events Tickets New Zealand) to use your contact details for updates, newsletters, and promotional offers.
Third-Party Sharing: You authorise us to share your information with the specific Event Organiser for management and safety purposes.
Opt-Out: You may unsubscribe at any time via the “unsubscribe” link. We are not responsible for the independent marketing practices of third-party Organisers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Events Tickets Australia shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered by a patron at an event. Our liability is limited to the resupply of our ticketing services or the cost of those services.
The Events Tickets Australia platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as event sponsors, venues, or social media platforms) that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
You acknowledge and agree that Events Tickets Australia shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of, or reliance on, any such third-party content, goods, or services.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and the state/territory in which our business is registered. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any non-excludable rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Events Tickets Australia and the Event Organiser reserve the right to modify these terms, ticket prices, or event arrangements at any time.
